Skyler Locklear News: Plans to hit portal

Locklear will enter the transfer portal, per Pete Nakos of On3.com.

Locklear started seven games in 2025 and appeared in nine, tossing for 1,418 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 55.2 percent of his passes. He also ran for 396 yards and eight scores. It was a rocky season for the redshirt junior in his second lap around the track at UTEP, but now, he'll look for another program with one year of eligibility remaining.
