RJ Maryland Injury: Runs routes, still no contact

Maryland (knee) ran full-speed routes Wednesday but is still not cleared for contact, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

SMU's fall camp is underway, and there are promising signs from Maryland. The tight end running full-speed routes indicates his knee is perfectly fine for movement. But still not ready for the full wear and tear, Maryland remains questionable for SMU's season opener, currently scheduled for Aug. 30 against Texas A&M-Commerce.
