Humes has committed to play for Delaware for the 2026 season, per the team's official X account.

Humes will join the Blue Hens following a single season with Coastal Carolina. The 6-foot-2 tight end did not record a counting stat with the Chanticleers in 2025. He will retain a single year of eligibility with Delaware.
