Gibson (leg) is still on schedule to return for Oklahoma's 2025 opener against Illinois State on Aug. 30, Jesse Crittenden of On3.com reports.

Despite undergoing offseason surgery, mid-July saw him no longer needing a protective boot, which made him probable as Oklahoma's team prepares for its 2025 opener. The wide receiver's injury status remains unchanged as OU fall camp is underway.
