Danny O'Neil Injury: Leaves late in ugly loss

O'Neil (undisclosed) left Wisconsin's clash with Maryland late after taking his sixth sack of the game and did not return.

O'Neil was seen standing on the sideline after he left the game, but he was replaced by third-string quarterback Hunter Simmons, who through a touchdown in garbage time. It's unclear the severity of O'Neil's ailment, but the Badgers mercifully have a bye week to recover and attempt to salvage their quarterback room.
