Carlos Del Rio-Wilson News: Will return to Marshall in 2026

Del Rio-Wilson has been granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA and will return to Marshall next fall, per The Herd Scoop.

Del Rio-Wilson had a career year with Marshall as a redshirt junior, tossing for 2,043 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 66.8 percent of his passes. He also ran for 661 yards and six touchdowns. With one more season of eligibility, he'll run it back with the Thundering Herd in 2026, presumably locked into its starting quarterback role.
