Piening (undisclosed) managed to suit up for UCF in the Knights' win over North Carolina, playing 21 total snaps, per Pro Football Focus.

Piening didn't see a target against UNC, but the tight end did manage to suit up for the first time in 2025. Still, the true freshman appears unlikely to make an impact on the Knights' offense in his first year on campus.
