Berryhill was the surprise leader in receiving yards and targets for the Lions on the night while also finishing second in receptions. He also posted the first multi-touchdown effort of his career with 34- and 35-yard scoring grabs in the third quarter, making it a stellar all-around fantasy night. The Arizona product enjoyed a solid rookie campaign in 2024 by way of a 34-369-2 line on 49 targets across 16 regular-season appearances, but his workload in the season opener certainly seems to portend a noteworthy role expansion in his second campaign. The fact Berryhill's impressive production came in his first regular-season game action with Nathan Rourke as his quarterback was also encouraging, and the duo will aim for a successful encore in a Week 2 road battle versus the Blue Bombers on Thursday night.
