Smith comfortably led the Tiger-Cats in receptions, receiving yards, targets and touchdowns, with his catches, targets and scoring grabs also qualifying as single-game career highs. The Guelph product topped off the memorable night with a game-winning one-yard touchdown reception, a play that was preceded by a six-yard score early in the third quarter. Smith had topped out at four receptions and 81 receiving yards prior to Sunday night's game as far as the 2025 season is concerned, so it remains to be seen if he'll be able to put together a fitting encore in a very favorable matchup against the Elks on the road Saturday afternoon.
