Sterns tied for the team lead in receptions while setting the pace in receiving yards and targets on the night for the Bombers. The Western Kentucky's yardage total was also a season-high figure, and he rounded out his busy night with an 18-yard scoring grab late in the third quarter from the arm of Chris Streveler, Stern's second TD of the campaign. Sterns should remain a key part of the air attack irrespective of whether Streveler or Zach Collaros (undisclosed) is under center for Friday night's Week 9 home rematch against Toronto.
