According to Noah Fleischman of On3 Sports, Parker's tremendous outing resulted in the most points scored by a player at the D-1 level since 2019. After serving primarily as a bench player for two seasons at NC State, Parker has found plenty of individual success for the 5-7 Highlanders, who hail from the Big South Conference. The big scoring day propelled his average to 19.0 ppg (on a career-best 49.7 percent shooting), to go along with 5.4 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.3 assists. Parker is positioning himself well for another chance with a high-major program in 2026-27.
