Fitts (pectoral) played catch out to 120 feet Sunday, MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Fitts sustained a right pectoral strain during a start against the White Sox on April 12 and landed on the 15-day injured list. He had opened the season as part of the rotation due to a number of injuries to other projected starters, but Fitts could head to Triple-A Worcester once he completes his recovery from the pec strain. Brayan Bello returned from the IL on Tuesday, and Lucas Giolito (hamstring) is expected to be ready to make his season debut next week.
