Latest Fantasy Rumors
Should be ready for camp
Thiero didn't play in the Summer League while recovering from a knee injury sustained in college, but should be ready for the start of training camp in the fall, according to Dan Woike of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old power forward was selected with the 36th pick in this year's draft and was part of the seven-team deal that sent Kevin Durant from Phoenix to Houston. Thiero, who spent his final year of college with Kentucky, will need to prove himself as a defensive stalwart to have a realistic chance of seeing minutes with the Lakers as a rookie, Woike adds. He averaged 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals while shooting 54.5 percent over 27 games during the 2024-25 season with Kentucky.
