Ryan Kalkbrenner was originally slated to start Saturday, but the Hornets have opted to make a late change and stick with Diabate in the starting lineup against Washington. Diabate is averaging 8.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 blocks over 24.4 minutes per game this season.
