Mohamed Diawara News: Assigned to G League

New York assigned Diawara to the G League's Westchester Knicks on Thursday.

Diawara has made only one start over his last 11 NBA games, averaging 1.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 4.5 minutes per contest over that span. He's now expected to see some extended outings in the G League, where he previously made a couple of appearances in the 2025-26 season, posting totals of 15 and 16 points, respectively, in those performances.
