Dariq Whitehead News: Appears in G League loss

Whitehead (shin) recorded zero points (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one rebound over 13 minutes in Thursday's 103-101 G League loss to the Birmingham Squadron.

Whitehead was far from his best form as he got only a few minutes of play after missing the team's previous game due to a shin injury. The 21-year-old should be able to score more points if he's ready for more action in upcoming contests, although he might be a backup asset behind Zack Austin.
