Akoldah Gak News: Season-best effort in blowout win

Gak posted 18 points (8-11 FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes during Friday's 111-77 G League win over the Maine Celtics.

Gak saw extra playing time during Friday's rout, and he capitalized on the opportunity with season highs in points and boards off the bench. The 23-year-old big man still remains well behind Skal Labissiere at center for the Capital City Go-Go, with Gak averaging 5.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 15.5 minutes per game through 12 contests.
