Soroka made 17 starts in 2025 between the Nationals and Cubs, which is the same number he made over the previous four seasons combined. While the righty managed just a 4.86 ERA in those outings, a 1.13 WHIP and 90:25 K:BB across 83.1 innings offered more promise. Soroka went down with a right shoulder strain after just one start following a trade to the Cubs, though he returned late in the year as a reliever. Still just 28, Soroka showed enough flashes in 2025 to make him an interesting late-round dart throw in fantasy leagues.
