2026 Fantasy Outlook
With his 2024 internal brace surgery behind him, Brash rejoined Seattle's bullpen last May and stepped right back into the setup role he operated in before his procedure. The 27-year-old kicked off his 2025 campaign with a 19-game scoreless streak, an impressive feat given his lengthy absence. Brash featured more sliders (61 percent pitch usage), sinkers (22 percent) and changeups (12 percent) than he's thrown in past seasons, relying far less on his four-seamer (five percent) and knuckle curve that were integral parts of his pre-surgery arsenal. The right-hander still battled command issues - his 9.0 percent walk rate was a career-best, but still below league average - but his newly featured sinker and changeup helped induce plenty of ground balls (54.7 percent clip). Assuming no health setbacks, Brash will open 2026 as the Mariners' primary eighth inning option, but he certainly has the talent to step into full-time closing duties if needed. Read Past Outlooks
