Urquidy spent all of 2024 and most of 2025 working his way back from Tommy John surgery. The 30-year-old progressed enough in his recovery to be reinstated off the Tigers' 60-day IL in September and made two appearances out of Detroit's bullpen during the regular season. Urquidy's 93.0 mph fastball in 2025 wasn't all that different from in prior, healthy years, and while he's currently free agent, he should garner interest from teams looking to add an arm to the bullpen in a long-relief role.
