Kyle Bradish

Bradish returned with a bang in late August after year-plus-long recovery from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace, posting a 2.45 FIP over 32 innings. He fanned nine or more in three of his six starts en route to a 37.3 K%, roughly five percentage points higher than his previous career high, while also throwing at least five innings on four occasions. The level of dominance he displayed last season will be difficult to maintain -- no qualified starter had a higher mark than Tarik Skubal's 32.2 K% last season -- but nonetheless the results have been excellent for Bradish for three consecutive seasons now around the missed time. Dating back to the start of the 2023 season, the right-hander has gone 15-8 with a 2.78 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 268:69 K:BB over 240 innings. The fact that he has fallen short of 40 innings the last two seasons is balanced by the justifiable optimism afforded by his arm having a new lease on life.
