Tim Mayza Injury: Shifts to 60-day IL

Mayza (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Thursday, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Mayza landed on the injured list Saturday and won't throw for six weeks, so this transaction isn't particularly surprising news. Matt Gorski will take his place on the Pirates' 40-man roster.
