Neris agreed to a minor-league contract with the Royals on Monday, which includes an invitation to spring training, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Neris will receive an opportunity to make a big-league roster after putting pen to paper on a deal with Kansas City. He bounced between three teams a season ago, posting a 6.75 ERA and 1.69 WHIP with a 35:16 K:BB and a pair of blown saves across 26.2 innings.
