Daniel Palencia Injury: Kicks off rehab assignment

Palencia (shoulder) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Saturday.

Palencia pitched in the fifth inning and allowed two hits and a run while striking out two across two-thirds of an inning. He'll likely need to make at least one more appearance prior to being activated, but he should be able to return at some before the close of the regular season.
