2026 Fantasy Outlook
The five-season run at Trackhouse Racing came to an end at the conclusion of last year. Suarez had one of his worst performances with that team in 2025. He would only collect seven Top-10 finishes and wind up a distant 29th-place in the final driver standings. The team parted ways with Suarez and he would end up at Spire Motorsports for the upcoming season. He replaces Justin Haley in the team's No. 7 Chevrolet. Suarez will be teamed with Ryan Sparks at crew chief and the two will look to get this team up off the mat. Haley would collect just two Top-10 finishes with this team last season, so they're currently not in a good place. Suarez brings over 300 Cup Series starts of experience and two-career victories to the table for this project. However, he'll face some headwinds of his own in trying to boost this struggling team. Fifth-Place at EchoPark Speedway
Suarez finished fifth in the Autotrader 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway on Sunday evening.
ANALYSIS
Suarez continued to build on his strong resume at EchoPark Speedway with a great effort Sunday in Atlanta. The Spire Motorsports veteran would avoid the several accidents that would take a toll on the field. Suarez would push his No. 7 Chevrolet among the leaders late and battle among the Top 10 at the end. He would hold off a challenge from Shane van Gisbergen to secure a strong fifth-place finish. It was his fourth Top 5 in the last six Atlanta races.

The 31-year-old Mexican saw a bit of a dip in performance last season. Suarez saw his Top-5 totals dip from six to just three and his Top-10 total from 13 to 10 year-over-year. It would lead to him missing the Chase playoffs and finishing 19th-place in the final point standings. As a result of his consistency struggles, Suarez would see his average finish grow to a subpar 19.0. Qualifying also suffered which placed him a bit further back on the starting grid. The team returns intact for 2024, including crew chief Travis Mack. Sponsorship is still solid so there should be some hope for improvements in the coming season. Intermediate and larger ovals were his strength in 2023 and the good news is that Suarez continues to improve in road course performance. The future is bright, but expectations must be tempered to incremental at best.
