Kohou started nine of his 15 appearances with Miami last season, and the team's decision to tender him this offseason seems to hint at his being primed for a starting role at slot cornerback. While Kohou had career lows in terms of defensive snaps (671), total tackles (45) and passes defensed (eight) in 2024, he also did log a career-best two interceptions. Head coach Mike McDaniel said Monday that Kohou is considered "day-to-day" with a right leg injury, Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
