Make sure to keep up with NFL breaking news and updates to NFL projections and injury reports throughout the week. If you're looking for target and air-yard shares that only include active games, you can find those updated every Tuesday on RotoWire's advanced receiving stats page. The percentages found below in our advanced box scores include all games, even if the player didn't participate.

Stat Table Key

Weekly stats (first six columns)

  • Snap = % of team snaps that player was on the field for
  • Route = route share (routes run  |  QB dropbacks)
  • RUSHING = rushing line
  • RECEIVE = receiving line
  • Tgt = targets
  • AY = Air Yards

2025 Season Stats (final five columns)

  • Sn'25 = snap share for the season
  • Rt'25 = route share for the season
  • TPRR = Targets per Route Run
  • TS = Percentage of team's targets
  • AYS = Percentage of team's air yards

The final five columns of each stat table below (written in italics) show numbers for the entire season. Bold lettering denotes especially strong marks relative to positional standards. Green lettering for the weekly stats denotes considerable increases in playing time and/or usage relative to past weeks. Red lettering denotes the opposite a decreased role relative to prior games.

  • RB Javonte Williams got off to a strong start with 13-54-1 rushing, but he didn't play after scoring his TD in the second quarter, deemed questionable to return with a shoulder injury (presumably the same one that bothered him the week before)
    • RB Malik Davis played 61% of snaps in the second half, with 12 carries for 53 yards (but no targets) after seeing eight carries and two targets in the first half.
    • FB Hunter Luepke played 51% of snaps in the second half, with six carries for 25 yards and one target for 14 yards (after one carry in the first half).
    • Williams already maxed out his contract incentives and isn't likely to play through the shoulder injury again Week 18, especially with free agency (or an extension) on the horizon. Davis could thus be a borderline-RB1 play against the Giants in Week 18, assuming a few other lead backs around the league are either rested or seeing scaled-back workloads for the season finale.
  • TE Jake Ferguson hurt his ankle in the second quarter and didn't play after halftime.
    • TE Brevyn Spann-Ford took 81% of snaps in the second half, with a 76% route share and two targets. He played 68% of snaps in 11 personnel, with Luke Schoonmaker getting 32%.
  • WR Jalen Tolbert played 62% of snaps and put up 4-31-0 on eight targets, replacing Ryan Flournoy (knee) as the No. 3 receiver, though KaVontae Turpin made a bigger splash with his 86-yard TD (on just one target and 17% snap share).

  • Washington stayed in the game thanks to some big plays from Deebo Samuel and Jacory Croskey-Merritt, but the Cowboys thoroughly dominated possession, with the Commanders running a league-low 41 plays in Week 17. QB Josh Johnson kept the team in the game but ultimately couldn't keep pace with the Dallas offense.
  • Croskey-Merritt played 74% of snaps through three quarters, taking nine of 10 RB opportunities (all carries), with Jeremy McNichols limited to 31% snap share and one target (in the absence of Chris Rodriguez, who missed the game due to an illness).
  • WRs Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel and Treylon Burks all topped 80% snap share, with Washington going three/four-wide on 78% of plays.
  • TE Ben Sinnott played 61% of snaps and caught three of four targets for 29 yards on 71% route share, while John Bates played 43% of snaps but ran just one route.

  • RB David Montgomery got more playing time relative to recent weeks, with a 34% snap share, 10 carries and two targets (for 40 total yards).
    • RB Jahmyr Gibbs took 19 touches for 64 yards. His rushing efficiency fell off a cliff after the 15-219-2 explosion against the Giants on Nov. 23, but it's also true that Gibbs generally struggled in tough matchups this season. Three games account for 43.4% of his rushing yards, with those three games being against the Giants, Cowboys and Commanders.
  • WR Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered an upper-body injury on the final drive.
  • WR Isaac TeSlaa scored Detroit's lone TD and saw four targets (one more than Jameson Williams) on a 71% route share.
  • TEs Shane Zylstra and Anthony Firkser rotated again, with both finishing below 30% route share while doing some pass blocking against Brian Flores' defense.

  • WR Courtland Sutton was the only Bronco above 64% route share even though WR Pat Bryant (head) was inactive.
  • The Broncos need a win in Week 18 to earn a bye, so they'll be going all out to win against a Chargers team that won't do the same.

  • RB Woody Marks played 66% of snaps after missing the previous game with an ankle injury. He took 21 of 30 RB opportunities (70%), with Jawhar Jordan taking eight carries on 11 snaps (18%) while Nick Chubb got just one carry on five snaps.
  • WR Jayden Higgins actually had a slight dip in snap/route share relative to recent weeks, despite scoring on a deep ball early in the game. His 50% route share ranked fourth among Houston's WRs (though Nico Collins at 86% was the only WR to reach even 60%).
  • The Texans likely will play starters in Week 18, with a tiny chance to win the AFC South and a much better chance to earn the No. 5 seed (which means facing BAL/PIT instead of JAX/DEN/NE).

  • RB Omarion Hampton played 83% of snaps, with a 65% route share and 22 of 23 RB opportunities. (Kimani Vidal was inactive due to a neck injury.)
    • Before the fourth quarter, Jarret Patterson and Hassan Haskins (concussion) played just one snap apiece. Patterson then got seven snaps and one carry in the fourth quarter during some long drives, but Hampton also got a carry and three targets in the fourth quarter.
  • WR Ladd McConkey caught just one pass on a team-high 34 routes (92%). The snap/route shares for WRs and TEs were in line with recent weeks.
  • TE Oronde Gadsden dropped a pass into a defender's hands near the goal line. He still finished at 70% route share, and scored a gimme TD late in the game after coming wide open off a play-fake.

  • RB Derrick Henry put up a 36-216-4 rushing line, and the Ravens may need another huge game in Week 18 with Lamar Jackson (back) uncertain to return.
    • Henry's snap share (65%) was larger than usual, but Keaton Mitchell (18% snaps, 11 touches for 38 yards) still had a significant role. And even passing-down specialist Rasheen Ali got three targets on 20% snap share.
  • TE Mark Andrews was lower than usual for snap share in this run-heavy game, but his route share was right in the usual range, which was also the case for Baltimore's other WRs and TEs.

  • Josh Jacobs is right that Malik Willis won't be back in Green Bay next year because somebody will give him a chance to start (as they should). However, Willis missed the end of Saturday's game after injuring his shoulder. With not much to play for in Week 18 anyway, the Packers may start Clayton Tune even if Jordan Love passes through concussion protocol.
    • Jacobs played through his knee injury again but finished with just 27% snap share. He played 57% of snaps in the first half but then just 21% in the third quarter and 0% in the fourth.
      • RB Emanuel Wilson played 47% of snaps after halftime, with three carries and one target. Chris Brooks got 44% of snaps, but he had no carries and just one target in the second half (after a lone target in the first half).
  • Green Bay didn't have a single skill-position above 64% snap share or 59% route share, but Christian Watson made the most of his 16 routes with a 5-113-1 line on six targets.
    • Dontayvion Wicks missed the second half after suffering a concussion.
    • FWIW, Watson and Jayden Reed were pulled for the final drive, missing out on six snaps and three routes.
  • TE Luke Musgrave dropped to 44% route share with Josh Whyle returning from a concussion.
  • Green Bay is now locked in as the NFC's No. 7 seed and likely will rest starters Week 18 at Minnesota.

    • Walker did have a slight touch advantage (15-13 carries, 2-2 targets) until Charbs took all five carries on the final drive (including his second TD of the game).

  • Playing-time shares were similar to previous weeks, apart from TE Ja'Tavion Sanders suffering a broken ankle on the first snap of the game.
    • TE Tommy Tremble finished with a 77% snap share and 65% route share, but just one target. He'll play a lot Week 18, but he's always had low target rates, no matter the role in terms of playing time.
  • RB Rico Dowdle got 17 opportunities to Chuba Hubbard's seven, after holding a 15-7 advantage the week before.

  • WR Jaylen Waddle left the game with a rib injury. He eventually returned but didn't play much thereafter, ultimately finishing with a 24% snap share and one target.
    • Waddle has 910 yards for the season and likely will want a crack at reaching 1,000 if his rib injury isn't bad... though it's a tall task with Quinn Ewers at QB.
  •  WRs Cedrick Wilson and Theo Wease took on more playing time, with Wease scoring a 63-yard TD.
  • TE Greg Dulcich put up 5-58-1 on six targets while logging a 37% snap share and 50% route share (up from 29% and 37%, respectively, in the previous game).
    • TE Darren Waller had small declines in snap/route share relative to the previous game, but nothing as drastic as the production discrepancy between he and Dulcich might seem to suggest.

  • RB Michael Carter got the start again and had five touches on Arizona's first eight snaps, before Corey Kiner and Emari Demercado got their first touches on the third drive of the game. Demercado then handled most of the two-minute drill before halftime, followed by Demercado and Carter sharing work throughout the second half.
    • After halftime, Demercado played 58% of snaps, with three carries and two targets. Carter played 42% of snaps, with two carries and three targets.
  • WR Marvin Harrison aggravated his heel injury and missed the fourth quarter.
    • WR Xavier Weaver played 88% of snaps in the final quarter, with Michael Wilson at 84%, and Jalen Brooks at 44%. Per usual, the Cardinals continued using a lot of two-TE looks with Elijah Higgins (56%) even when down big. They also left starters in through the bitter end, which proved huge for Trey McBride's fantasy managers when he caught four passes for 32 yards and a TD on Arizona's final drive.

  • RB Samaje Perine took 31% of snaps, but the touches shifted way toward Chase Brown relative to recent games, including Brown taking two carries well into garbage time to put him over 100 yards for the game.
    • Once Brown went over 100 rushing yards, the Bengals put in Tahj Brooks, who took four touches on the final non-kneeldown drive (his only four touches of the game).
    • Brown is up to 947 rushing yards this season, ahead of a matchup with Cleveland's tough defense. The Bengals will want to get him to 1,000 yards, of course, but they're also trying to win and build confidence/chemistry for next year.
  • With Noah Fant back from injury, Mike Gesicki dropped to 41% route share and two targets. Gesicki did at least catch both targets, for 47 total yards.

  • QB Tyler Shough played another great game, aided by a big second half from RB Audric Estime, who finished with 14 carries and one target on 79% snap share.
    • Taysom Hill, meanwhile, took three carries for no gain on just 13% snap share. Negative game script was a part of that, but it also seems his Week 16 usage spike was largely a product of the Saints wanting him to have a good game in his potential final appearance at the Superdome.

  • Playing-time shares were the same as recent weeks, only with James Proche replacing Van Jefferson (arm) after he got injured.
  • Cam Ward's pocket movement and arm strength provide ample cause for optimism. Now he needs better players around him, followed by improvement in getting the ball out quickly on a larger percentage of dropbacks. A new coaching staff wouldn't hurt either.

  • RBs TreVeyon Henderson and Rhamondre Stevenson both had double-digit touches by halftime. Henderson ultimately took twice as many carries, but the snap shares were nearly identical and Stevenson scored two TDs while holding a 5-0 advantage in targets.
    • The 5-0 edge in targets was fluky, but Stevenson has been playing well of late and could see over one-third of the touches down the stretch.
  • WR Kyle Williams and Efton Chism got huge boosts in playing time with Mack Hollins (IR - abdomen) and Kayshon Boutte (concussion) both inactive.
    • Hollins won't be eligible to return until the AFCCG (or the Super Bowl if New England has a bye).
  • WR Stefon Diggs got a small playing-time bump in the first half (65% snap share, 74% route share), but New England unsurprisingly eased up on his workload after building a big lead (thanks in part to Diggs' 6-101-1 receiving line).

  • Playing-time shares were similar to the previous week until RBs Breece Hall (knee) and Isaiah Davis (concussion) left with injuries.
    • Hall played just two snaps in the fourth quarter, and Davis not at all.  Kene Nwangwu entered the game with about 11 minutes remaining and took six carries for 31 yards on a single drive. Khalil Herbert subbed in some on that drive, and then played most of the final series when Brady Cook was dropping back on every snap.
    • Hall is unlikely to play in Week 18 even if the knee injury is very minor. He topped 1,000 yards during Sunday's game and is scheduled for free agency this spring.

  • RB Jonathan Taylor is 47 yards behind James Cook and 90 yards ahead of Derrick Henry for the league lead in rushing yards. It's not clear if Cook will play in Week 18, and if so how much. Taylor, however, figures to be quite busy against a fierce Houston defense.

  • RB Jaylen Warren got five more carries than Kenneth Gainwell, but the snaps shifted drastically in Gainwell's favor with the Steelers playing from behind all game.
  • TE Pat Freiermuth leaped to 71% snap share and 71% route share, with two big catches to get Pittsburgh into the red zone at the end of the game (to no avail). He benefitted from both Washington's injury and negative game script. Freiermuth should be busy again Week 18 against Baltimore's shaky secondary (though WRs have done most of the damage vs. the Ravens of late).
  • WRs Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling both reached 90% route share, with Scotty Miller (76%) not too far behind. Each of the three had at least five targets, with MVS leading the way in terms of both targets (9) and air yards (90).

  • RB Raheim Sanders got the start over Dylan Sampson, who ultimately took 36% of snaps and 14 of 26 RB opportunities.
    • Trayveon Williams still had a role, with 22% snap share, 28% route share and two carries. It's possible Sampson takes on more work in his second week back from injury, of course.
  • TE Harold Fannin scored a TD in the first quarter but then missed the second half with a groin/hamstring injury.
  • The WRs behind Jerry Jeudy were again a messy rotation, with Cedric Tillman making a big play but otherwise not seeing any targets.

  • RB Ashton Jeanty dominated backfield work again, with Zamir White taking just one carry on 17% snap share while filling in as the No. 2 RB for Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee).
  • TE Michael Mayer was a lone bright spot for Vegas, putting up 9-89-0 on a team-high 10 targets, albeit with just 26 air yards and a whole lot of YAC.
    •  Mayer's 91% route share was good for second on the team behind only Tre Tucker (100%).
  • WR Dont'e Thornton was quiet (2-12-0 on 71% route share) in the absence of Jack Bech (back).
  • QB Geno Smith suffered an ankle injury late in the game. He's unlikely to play Week 18, leaving Kenny Pickett or Aidan O'Connell as the starter.

  • Usage shares were the same as ever, dominated by the Big 4. Jalen Hurts didn't complete a pass after halftime, with the Eagles going run-run-pass-punt multiple times and relying on their defense to make a bunch of stops (which it did, until it didn't).
  • Philadelphia's Week 18 motivation is debatable, depending on how one feels about the importance of getting a first-round matchup with the Packers instead of an NFC West team.

  • The Bills used 11 personnel on a season-high 82% of snaps, playing from behind without TE Dalton Kincaid (knee).
  • WR Khalil Shakir had season highs for snap and route share, but Brandin Cooks made the biggest splash with 4-101-0 on six targets and 50% route share.
    • Cooks could earn more snaps in the playoffs, though it's generally been unwise to bet on any consistency with Buffalo's WR usage besides Shakir getting a lot of snaps/targets from the slot.
  • RB James Cook was evaluated for an injury during the third quarter but returned to the game and finished with 20 carries. X-Rays afterward came back negative.
    • Cook leads the NFL in rushing but probably won't finish as the leader unless he plays Week 18. I'm guessing he'll have to eat the L there, but who knows...
    • Betting odds suggest high risk of Buffalo resting/pulling starters in Week 18, which makes sense, especially if Houston wins a game earlier Sunday to end Buffalo's shot at the No. 5 seed (rather than 6/7).

  • TE Colston Loveland put up 6-94-1 on a team-high 10 targets and 109 air yards, with both his snap and route shares above 80%. He might've had a huge rookie season if not for entering the NFL while recovering from surgery.

  • RB Christian McCaffrey ran for a season-high 140 yards on 23 carries. He was seen tending to a back injury on the sideline late in the game, but nothing was ever announced.
  • LT Trent Williams injured his hamstring on the first snap of the game, a pick-six for Chicago.
  • WR Ricky Pearsall limped off the field and was checked out by trainers but returned to the game in short order. He missed the previous game with knee and ankle injuries. It seems like the knee is going to be a nagging problem for however long SF's season lasts.
  • WR Jauan Jennings had a quiet night... until he scored the winning TD on his fourth and final target.
