Helton's comments after Western Kentucky's second scrimmage of fall camp seem to indicate that Stout will be available to play immediately following his transfer from North Texas this offseason. The redshirt sophomore only managed to tally six tackles and one pass defended while limited to just three games due to injury last year, but his 35 tackles over seven contests during the shortened 2020 campaign illustrates the physicality he could bring to the Hilltoppers' defense this coming fall.
