Powell will participate in a Jazz pre-draft workout Friday, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Powell, out of North Carolina, is considered a strong bet to be drafted either late in the first round or early in the second. Other players participating in this workout are Colorado State wing Nique Clifford, Creighton center Ryan Kalkbrenner and Tennessee guard Chaz Lanier. The Jazz have four picks in the 2025 NBA Draft, including two second-rounders, and Powell could be a target for the early stages of the second round.
